(Rock Rapids)– An Ellsworth, Minnesota man was injured in a single vehicle crash Tuesday on Highway 9 near Rock Rapids.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says Conrad Beauvais of Ellsworth was driving a 1999 GMC Jimmy eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle which went into the south ditch. It then overturned, coming to rest on its roof in a field.
Beauvais was extricated by mechanical means and was taken to the Rock Rapids hospital. He was cited for failure to maintain control and no valid driver’s license. A passenger who owns the vehicle was cited for no insurance-accident related and defective tires. He wasn’t injured.
