Two Dickinson County Supervisors Bid Their Farewells

December 17, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors held their final in-person meeting of 2024 this (Tues.) morning. Outgoing board member Tim Fairchild expressed his appreciation to fellow board members and others he’s worked with while serving as a County Supervisor…

“It’s been a privilege to serve over the last eight years on this board. I’ve always appreciated this board and the staff that’s involved. Appreciate that. I’ve always worked for the betterment of the county and I believe that about the entire staff and board. I’ve always put in the time and effort required for this job, and I have never put my own personal interests ahead of the county’s.”

Fellow Supervisor Jeff Thee also bid his farewell…

“What an honor it’s been. The employees, Dickinson county, to represent my favorite place on earth and to sit with four of the most distinguished, honest, and wonderful people I could have sat next to. Tim is probably one of the most honest, honorable people I’ve ever met. I defended him months ago, I stick up for him now because that’s exactly what he is. Thank you.”

Supervisor Chairman Bill Leupold presented Fairchild and Thee with plaques in appreciation of their years of service to the county.
