(Spencer)– The Clay County Community Foundation has released its 2024 year-end report. It shows that $458,000 in grants were awarded through the year to various nonprofits and community projects, along with $118,000 in Community Betterment Grants.
The foundation also raised more than $550,000 for the Disaster Recovery Fund and awarded more than $340,000 in grants through that same fund to 30 projects. The Clay County Community Foundation says it will continue to disburse Disaster Recovery Fund grants in the upcoming year to assist with long term flood recovery.
They add the 2025 Community Betterment Grant season is now open through January 15th. More information can be found at the Clay County Community Foundation website.
