(Bloomington, MN)– Another Minnesota company with a global footprint has announced pending job cuts. The Toro Company says it plans to eliminate 300 office jobs worldwide. The Bloomington-based company did not say how many of the affected employees work in Minnesota.
Locally Toro operates a manufacturing facility in Windom, Minnesota.
A statement from the company said the employees affected have been offered severance packages and transition support.
Cargill announced earlier this week that it would be cutting about eight-thousand jobs worldwide, including nearly 500 in Minnesota.
