(Orange City)– Two people from Spencer were arrested following a weekend traffic stop in Sioux county. Authorities say a Sioux county deputy conducted the stop Saturday morning in Boyden and discovered the driver, Christopher McKee of Spencer, had a barred driver’s license and that he was wanted on multiple warrants from other counties. A K-9 from the Rock Valley Police Department was then summoned to sniff the vehicle, resulting in deputies finding methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
McKee and a passenger, Amanda McKee, also of Spencer, were transported to the Sioux county jail. Christopher McKee was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a barred driver’s license; Amanda McKee was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
