(Algona)– The Kossuth and Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation has a new leader. Tod Faris will become the new director effective September 23rd, replacing Maureen Elbert who will be retiring this fall.
Faris has nearly 16 years of experience in economic development leadership. He most recently served as Economic Development and Community Relations Manager at Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative for seven years. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Appanoose Economic Development Corporation based in Centerville, Iowa.
