Clay County Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges

(Spencer)– Authorities in Clay county have released details into a traffic stop back on July 31st of this year that resulted in the arrest of a Minnesota woman on drug charges. The Sheriff’s Office says the stop was made around 11:00 am that morning and that a deputy discovered a marijuana vape pen in the vehicle. Further investigation turned up marijuana and prescription pills.

48-year-old Samantha Gomez of Montrose, Minnesota, was arrested and charged with speeding, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, and two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
