(Estherville)– A two-vehicle collision Monday at the intersection of Highway 9 and 570th Avenue near Armstrong sent one person to the hospital.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says a 16-year-old from Ringsted had stopped at a stop sign and pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Chase Karstens of Waseca, Minnesota.
A passenger in the vehicle driven by Karstens, 39-year-old David Astello of Estherville, was taken to Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision took place shortly before 4:00 pm.
