Jackson County Fair Gets Underway Tuesday (July 23)

July 22, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Jackson, Mn.)– The Jackson County Fair gets underway Tuesday and runs through Saturday. Terri Bargfrede of the Jackson County Fair Board says the final preparations have been made and they look forward to seeing everyone…

“We just hope people support the fair, we have great sponsors, we try to recognize them in as many ways as we can. There’s still room for more sponsorships and so forth, but just want to make sure everyone knows that we appreciate them for coming to the fair, for sponsoring the fair, for exhibiting at the fair and so forth.”

This year’s Jackson County Fair features a wide variety of events. In addition to the livestock and static exhibits, this year’s fair includes barrel racing, the Pop Rocks, magic acts, a classic car cruise in, food vendors, archery tag, a kid’s day, bull riding, baby animals, senior events and much more. This marks the 156th year for the Jackson County Fair.
