(Des Moines)– Governor Kim Reynolds announced late this (Thursday) afternoon Dickinson, Humboldt and Palo Alto counties have now been approved for Individual Assistance under the previously announced Presidential Major Disaster Declaration. The Federal Emergency Management Agency Individual Assistance Program has already been activated for Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Emmet, Lyon, O’Brien, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury counties.
Dickinson county residents are now eligible for the Iowa Disaster Recovery Temporary Housing Program. That program is available to survivors whose homes sustained major damage, were destroyed, or deemed not habitable.
