(Ashton)– Multiple injuries were reported Saturday in a two-vehicle collision near Ashton.
Authorities say 41-year-old Allison Behrendsen of Schleswig was driving a 2019 Ford Edge Northbound on County Road L-40 and 65-year-old Barbara Dunaway of Overland Park, Kansas was driving a 2018 Audi westbound on County Road A-34 when the two collided in the intersection.
Both drivers and a passenger in the Dunaway vehicle were taken by ambulance to the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley.
Dunaway was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
The collision took place around 1:00 pm.
The Ashton Fire Department assisted on the scene.
