A Dickinson County Jury Finds Kyle Ricke Guilty In Fatal Shooting Of Algona Police Officer Kevin Cram

(Spirit Lake)– A Dickinson county jury has found Kyle Ricke guilty of 1st degree murder in the shooting death of Algona police officer Kevin Cram. The jury returned its verdict this (Thurs.) morning after deliberating about an hour. No word just yet on a sentencing date.

Testimony in the trial concluded Wednesday, with the prosecution resting its case and the defense not calling any witnesses. Ricke declined to testify on his own behalf.

Closing arguments were held this (Thurs.) morning prior to the case going to the jury.
