(Spirit Lake)– A housing project in Spirit Lake has been awarded some financial assistance through the Iowa Finance Authority.
Community Housing Initiatives has been awarded $660,000 in housing tax credits and will be getting a little more than $953,000 through what’s known as the “HOME” program. The assistance will go toward construction of some new units and rehabilitation of some existing ones at Summerfield Park in Spirit Lake.
