Spirit Lake Woman Recognized For 30 Years Of Volunteer Service

(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake woman has been recognized for her 30 years of volunteer service with the Dickinson County Retired Senior Volunteer Program, or RSVP. Leah Streeter recently received a Length of Service award and was recognized June 25th with a Governor’s Volunteer Award from Volunteer Iowa.

Streeter averages over 20 hours of volunteer service monthly. She has been a Pen Pal to area 3rd and 4th graders for many years and volunteers at Lakes Regional Healthcare, the Dickinson County Nature Center, Westport Schoolhouse and with area boards and groups.

The Northwest Iowa Retired Senior Volunteer Program serves Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth and Palo Alto counties. You can find more information at iowalakes.edu/RSVP.
