(Spencer)– The city of Spencer has opened a sandbagging site. It’s located north of Pedersen Park on 10th Avenue east.
In addition to Spencer residents, the site is also available to residents throughout Clay county.
City officials in Spencer are also requesting people not operate motorized boats on the Little Sioux River given the extremely high water levels and swift current.
