(Arnolds Park)– We have another update to report as this phase of the Highway 71 project through the lakes corridor winds down. The Iowa Department of Transportation says the southbound lanes of the highway from Benit Drive to Lake Street in Arnolds Park will re-open around 3:00 pm today (Monday, May 20th.) D.O.T officials say traffic will be placed on the new southbound lanes at that time.
Work on this phase of the Highway 71 project concludes this coming Friday with the fourth phase scheduled to start immediately following this coming Labor Day.
