Annual Citywide Cleanup Day In Okoboji Is June 3rd

(Okoboji)– Those living in the city of Okoboji may want to do some spring cleaning over the next couple of weeks. City Administrator Michael Meyers says the annual citywide cleanup day will be June 3rd…

“If you go to our website which is www.okobojicity.com we’ll have a full list of information that you need to see on there. Otherwise we just ask that everyone has everything out before that Monday morning and we’ll get to you and just check the website for all the rules and restrictions.”

Meyers adds tags will still be required to dispose of some items even on cleanup day…

“Electronics, white goods, appliances, all of those things still need a tag even on cleanup day. We do offer those tags every day of the year so if you ever have any of those goods feel free to give us a call and we’ll get you a tag and get that picked up any day, not just on cleanup day.”
