(Hull)– One person was injured when a car collided with a motorcycle Monday at an intersection in Sioux county.
Authorities say 82-year-old James Andringa of Sanborn was driving a 2015 Ford Edge northbound on Highway 75 three miles northwest of Hull and 51-year-old Eric Rens of Hull was driving a 2014 Suzuki motorcycle, also northbound. Deputies say Andringa started making a U-turn at an intersection and the two collided.
Rens was taken by ambulance to the Sioux Center hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Andringa was cited for making an unsafe turn.
