(Spencer)– No injuries were reported in an electrical fire Monday at a residence in Spencer.
The Spencer Fire Department was called a little after 5:00 pm to 410 East 10th Street. Upon arriving firefighters encountered a light haze of smoke throughout the inside of the residence. They traced the source of the smoke to a problem with an electrical panel in the basement. Crews with Spencer Municipal Utilities disconnected the power.
The American Red Cross provided assistance in finding housing for four occupants.
Firefighters were on the scene about 40 minutes.
