(Montgomery)– The Dickinson County sheriff’s Office is looking for a person of interest in an investigation into an incident that occurred late this (Sunday) afternoon in Montgomery.
According to a post on their Facebook page, the Sheriff’s Office says they’re looking for 20-year-old Caleb Crosby. They say he may be driving a 2016 FordF-150 with Iowa license plate FBG927, and that the vehicle has damage to the left rear and may have a taillight out.
Authorities say that if you see a vehicle matching that description or if you see Crosby himself, to not approach and call 911 immediately.
The Sheriff’s Office is also advising everyone to keep their vehicles secured.
While authorities have not yet released details into the incident Sunday for which Crosby was wanted, online court records show he has an extensive criminal history. Crosby was arrested as recently as April 21st of this year on charges of theft in the 2nd degree and operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent. He was also arrested in March of this year at the scene of a fire in Montgomery after he allegedly refused to follow orders of firefighters. Crosby was charged in that incident with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol under the legal age, carrying a dangerous weapon as an ineligible person and interference with official acts.
