Officials Release Additional Details In Deadly Collision Near Worthington

(Worthington, Mn.)– The Minnesota State Patrol has released additional details into a head-on crash late Tuesday afternoon near Worthington that claimed the life of a man.

Troopers say 33-year-old Codey Fisher of Worthington was driving a 1991 GMC Sonoma northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 60 near Worthington and 45-year-old Brandon Hunter of Shevlin, Minnesota was driving a 2005 Trao semi southbound when the two collided head on.

Fisher was killed in the crash; Hunter was taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The collision took place around 5:15 pm and authorities say the pavement was wet.
