(Spirit Lake)– Don’t let your guard down today (Tues.) when it comes to the weather. A severe weather outbreak could be possible later today (Tues.) throughout the region, with large hail, possibly up to two inches in diameter, along with damaging winds of greater than 70 mph, and a few tornadoes being possible.
Forecasters say the greatest threat would be later this (Tues.) afternoon into the evening. They’re urging everyone to pay close attention to the conditions and be prepared to take the necessary precautions in the event threatening conditions do actually develop and warnings are issued.
