(Milford)-
Okoboji High School will present their spring play this weekend. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Okoboji High School will present their production of The Butler Did It on Friday and Saturday nights.
Director Ryan Overton says the cast plays off of each other in sometimes hilarious ways. “We’re going with a murder mystery this year. It is a pretty fun, interactive show I would say. I think a lot of it comes from the way the cast leans into their characters and portray themselves up on stage. The charisma and interaction between them is just very enjoyable in seeing how silly and goofy some of these characters tend to be when it comes to a rather serious subject of the mystery of who done it throughout this play. So, it’s been a really enjoyable experience in seeing the kids express themselves throughout their characters.”
He adds that they will have two performances this weekend. “The first one is April 26th. The show starts at 7 pm, but the doors open at 6:15, and then another one on Saturday, April 27th at the same time. Admission is $6.”
