(Milford)– The Milford City Council Monday evening heard a request for the city to vacate a frontage road near Danbom Lake Service. The new owner of some adjoining property to the north of that made the request. City council members were in favor of starting the process to do that.
City officials say it would allow for the future extension of 25th Street, which would outlet at the Highway 86 intersection. They say that would reduce some of the volume at the 28th Street intersection, just north of that.
The proposal needs to go first to the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission. If approved there, the matter would then go to the city council for a public hearing.
