(Estherville)– Multiple charges were filed against a Mapleton, Minnesota man following a traffic stop March 15th west of Armstrong.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over the vehicle for speeding and an equipment violation. The deputy learned the driver, 25-year-old Lane Erdewyk, was wanted on an active Emmet county warrant. Controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol were also observed.
Erdewyk was taken into custody on the warrant. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, failure to provide proof of financial liability, open container of alcohol on a public roadway and improper registration lamp.
