Get Up & Bowl Registrations, Sponsorships & Silent Auction Items Still Being Sought

(Spirit Lake)– Get Up And Bowl, a fundraiser for Special Olympics, is coming up April 28th at Juniper Lanes in Spirit Lake, formerly Corner Lanes. Organizer Mike Ross says they’re still accepting registrations…

“We’ve got a lot of teams in place, but if people are concerned about a specific time, right at this moment we have openings at all three of the bowling times.”

He says they’re also looking for additional corporate sponsors for the event…

“The corporate sponsor gets to have a team to bowl on the day of the event. They also get social media marketing, any kind of print marketing, a lot of word of mouth. So we do what we can to try to recognize those corporate sponsors who help us out so much with the funding for the event.”

Ross adds they’re also still accepting items for the silent auction…

“We’ve had hundreds of items in years past. We’re always looking for more of those and those can conveniently be dropped off at Business Today where we have them warehoused in a location on site so that way we can get them all marked up and ready for the big event that like you said, is barely just a month away, so.”
