(Spencer)– A local hospital has received another accolade. The National Rural Health Association has announced Spencer Hospital is among the 20 highest-ranking rural and community hospitals in the country among about 800 facilities roughly it’s same size.
Spencer Hospital has also been one of the Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals for nine consecutive years as determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health.
The criteria for selecting the top hospitals is based on patient satisfaction and outcomes, quality measures, market share, charges and costs.
