Collision Injures Two People; Totals Vehicles

March 14, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Paullina)– A two vehicle collision a little before 6:00 pm Tuesday in O’Brien county sent two people to the hospital.

Authorities say 28-year-old Kennedy Roesler of Primghar was driving a 2013 Dodge Ram southbound on Silver Avenue at the intersection with 500th Street. Deputies say she pulled into the path of a 2024 Hyundai driven by 55-year-old James Rehder of Waukee, Iowa.

Rehder and a passenger, 58-year-old Dana Rehder, were seriously injured and were taken by ambulance to the Cherokee hospital.

Both vehicles were totaled.

Roesler was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
