(Okoboji)– Expect some traffic delays today (Mon.) if you’re going to be traveling on Highway 71 through Okoboji. Crews will be doing some prep work in the area of Highway 71 and Stakeout Road for the next phase of the Highway 71 re-paving project through the lakes corridor.
Work on the third phase of the project is expected to get underway one week from today, Monday, March 11th, weather permitting. Dakin Schultz of the District 3 D.O.T office in Sioux City says a public meeting on the next phase of the project will be held this Thursday at 5:30 pm at The Pavilion in Arnolds Park…

Work on this stage of the project is scheduled for completion May 24th.
