(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College is getting nearly $494,000 through a federal program to expand its aviation training program.
The funding will also increase availability of financial assistance and prepare area high school participants for high-demand aviation careers.
The Aviation Workforce Development grants were made possible through the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018. Iowa Lakes is one of three community colleges in the state awarded the funding.
