(Estherville)-There’s a free concert on tap Tuesday evening at Iowa Lakes in Estherville. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Iowa Lakes Community College Music Department will host a Night at The P.A.C. Tuesday evening.
Instrumental Music Professor Carol Ayres says a wide variety of music will be performed. “We’ll have many solos by various people from the college and maybe even a couple from the community. There’s a guitar solo, so that’ll be fun, too, because that often doesn’t happen. We often don’t have guitars playing solos, so that’ll be cool. The Hand Bells will be playing and the Jazz Band will be playing and the always popular Men’s Ensemble will be singing their Singing Valentines for us. Maybe people saw them out and about delivering Valentines. So, they’ll be singing those for us, as well,”
She adds that the concert is free and open to the public. “It’s in our Performing Arts Center so you can come and go and it’s very casual, nothing formal. Just kids singing songs they want to sing and it’s always a really fun night.”
The concert will will be held at The Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center starting at 6:30.
