Spencer Chamber Gearing Up For Ag Outlook 2024

February 12, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Spencer)– The Spencer Chamber of Commerce holds its annual Ag Outlook event Tuesday, February 20th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Clay County Regional Events Center. Blake Goss of the Spencer Chamber says there will be a lot to see and do…

“We’ll have almost 100 vendors present to showcase the latest and greatest in the ag industry, and then we’ll have three great presentations spread out throughout the day as well. The first one will start at 9:30, then 12:30, then 2:30.”

He says three well known speakers will be featured this year, including Niki Putnam, Matt Campbell, a marketing specialist, and Kristine Tidgren covering a range of topics…

“Matt Campbell, this will be his third time with us this year, and he discusses grain market hot spots and he has a very strong following. We got him on the calendar the day after from last year’s event, so we’re pleased to have him and he’s willing to come out. Niki will be discussing cultivating health pretty much connecting ag to healthy lifestyles and everything, and she’s out of Austin, so she’ll be coming up here to present for us then at the 12:30 spot. And then Kristine out of Iowa State, she is a professor down there and an attorney as well. Farm tax laws are always changing and very valuable information. She will share what’s coming up for 2024.”

This marks the 39th year for the Spencer Chamber’s Ag Outlook. More information can be found at agoutlook.com or at the Spencer Chamber’s Facebook page.
