(Jackson, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning on Highway 71 five miles north of the Iowa-Minnesota border injured both drivers.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox was being driven northbound and a 2011Nissan Maxima was southbound when the two collided just north of 750th Street in Jackson county.
The names of those injured, who are from Estherville and Spirit Lake, haven’t been released yet.
The collision took place a little before 5:30 am Tuesday.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson ambulance and the Jackson Fire Department assisted on the scene.
