(Spencer)– The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation has announced the winners of its 2024 Business Recognition Awards.
Sara Taylor of the Spencer Regional Hospital Foundation was named Young Professional of the Year; Nate Kraft of Krafty’s Meat Market of Milford was named Entrepreneur of the Year; the Small Business Excellence Award went to Carstensen’s Meats and Grocery of Lake Park; and Merrill Manufacturing of Storm Lake received the Large Business Excellence Award.
Two individuals were recognized during today’s (Wednesday’s) event for their years of service on the Corridor’s Board of Directors. Doug Benjamin of Northwest Bank served from July 2017 until December 2023 and Scott Berglund of Safco Products in Milford served from October 2021 until December 2023.
This marked the 13th year for the Business Recognition Luncheon, which featured Cory Hepola as the keynote speaker.
