(Estherville)-The Iowa Lakes Community College Music Department will hold auditions for their upcoming production of Tarzan January 28th through the 30th.
“Instrumental Music Professor Carol Ayres says a variety of actors are needed for the production.
“We’re going to do Tarzan April 10, 11, 12 and 13th. It seems like a long ways off, but we have to get auditions underway. So, auditions are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. If you are 4th grade to 12th grade, they’re at 6 p.m. If you are college or an adult or out of 12th grade, you come at 7 o’clock.”
She adds that performers should prepare a short song.
“Auditions will take probably 5-10 minutes. You need to come prepared to sing about 30 to 60 seconds of a pop song, any song you want, but we would actually prefer it’s not from Tarzan.”
The auditions will be held at The Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center on the Estherville Campus.
