(Arnolds Park)-The Okoboji Summer Theatre Season will be unveiled on Saturday. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Okoboji Summer Theatre Association will hold their Annual Omelet Brunch on Saturday followed by an announcement of the upcoming Season at the OST.
President Mike McKim says the Association works to support the Theatre and students. “The Summer Theatre Association is just a group of people who really love the Okoboji Summer Theatre and want to do everything they can to help it be successful and help the students who are coming up here to learn and perform, to have a great experience while they’re essentially attending classes, because this is a class for them. So, basically we just try to do anything we can to help the Okoboji Summer Theatre to be successful because we love having it in our community.”
He notes that the Omelet Brunch will be held at the Okoboji Bible Conference on Saturday during Winter Games. “All of the money raised from the Okoboji Omelet Breakfast, it actually all goes to student scholarships. The event is omelets, there’s juice, there’s really, really good cheesy hash browns that come with it, of course coffee. The omelets are made right there in front of you so, you can choose what you want in it. Come and geat a great breakfast and then head out into the cold for Winter Games but also, stick around for the announcement.”
The Brunch will run from 8 to 12:30 with the announcement to follow at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon.
