(Spirit Lake)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Monday evening west of Spirit Lake on Highway 9.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 73-year-old Dee Dee McCoy of Spirit Lake was driving a 2008 Subaru westbound and was making a left turn at the Indian Hills Driveway when she was struck from behind by a 2019 Ford pickup driven by 51-year-old Cassidy Matson of Rock Rapids.
Both drivers were treated on the scene by paramedics and were then taken by private vehicle to Lakes Regional Healthcare.
Both vehicles were totaled.
The collision took place around 5:30 pm.
