(Sanborn)– An investigation is underway following a robbery early this (Monday) afternoon at Sanborn Savings Bank in Sanborn.
O’Brien County Sheriff Bruce Devereaux tells Community First Broadcasting station KIWA in Sheldon that law enforcement officers are looking for the suspect.
News partner KTIV in Sioux City is reporting the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School in Sanborn was placed on lockdown status at 1:15 pm. That lockdown has since been lifted. Officials haven’t said whether or not the lockdown was associated with the incident at the bank, just a couple blocks away.
No other details were immediately available.
