(Arnolds Park)– The next phase of improvements to the Legend Rollercoaster gets underway Tuesday (Sept. 6th.). Officials with Historic Arnolds Park, Inc. say the work will be done by Great Coasters, International of Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The work will include improvements to the lift hill, chain drive, and the first curve on the Lake Street side of the coaster. Some new concrete footings will also be poured. “The Point of No Return” sign will also be replaced.
Arnolds Park officials say this will be the fourth and final phase of improvements to the Legend.
The work will continue through the winter with completion in time for the park’s opening day for the 2023 season.
