(Arnolds Park)-The Fabulous Flippers are unable to perform at the Roof Garden Ballroom Friday.
Arnolds Park Amusement Park Marketing Director Paul Plumb says the cancellation is due to a medical problem with Lead Vocalist Danny Heinz:
“The Flippers’ Lead Singer had a medical issue come up earlier this week and unfortunately not going to be able to make the show, so they chose to not perform but The 7 Sons have stepped up to the plate and they’re going to perform two sets that night using some of the horn players that were going to be with The Flippers. They’re going to be playing with them, and they brought some additional vocalists and it’s still going to be a fantastic show, I think.”
Plumb notes that Danny Heinz is expected to fully recover:
“It sounds like he’s going to make a full recovery and he’s looking forward to next year already and coming back and having a show.”
The show will go on with The 7 Sons at 7:30 Friday night at The Roof Garden.
