(Primghar)– A minor gas leak resulted in the O’Brien County Courthouse being evacuated for a time earlier today (Wednesday).
County Auditor Barb Rohwer says the building was cleared around 8:30 a.m. after a few employees reported smelling natural gas in the building.
The gas company was called and it was determined the leak was coming from a faulty water heater in the basement. The problem was taken care of and people were allowed back in the building just before 10:00 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
