(Milford)– The South Dickinson Community Fund Drive is underway.
Chairperson Betty Naab of Milford says a mass mailing went out to residents of southern Dickinson county last week. Anyone who didn’t get one should call 332-5194 or contact their area chairperson. They are Betty Naab, town of Arnolds Park, South Center Grove Township and town of West Okoboji; Linda Bronson, NW town of Milford; Rick Kilts, SW town of Milford; Enid Creswell, East of Okoboji Avenue, town of Milford; Marilyn Lewis, Lloyd Township; Peggy Gottsche, Milford Township; Donna Schmidt, Okoboji and Westport Townships; Sally Will, Richland Township; Mary Jo Roskammer, town of Wahpeton and S. Lakeville Township and Dana Loring, town of Terril.
The South Dickinson Community Fund Drive provides funding to the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Iowa Arthritis Foundation, Children and Family Services of Iowa, Florence Crittenton Center, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Voluntary Action Center, Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault, PLUS, Incorporated, the YMCA, Shepherd’s Fold Ministries, Timeout Nursery, Dickinson County Kinship, Discovery House and Upper Des Moines Opportunity. Each donor has the opportunity to designate which organization will benefit from their donation. Other agencies may also be designated.
The drive continues through November 8th.
Donations may be mailed or dropped off at United Community Bank in Milford.
