(Des Moines)– The city of Arnolds Park is one of 20 cities awarded funding through the latest round of grants through Iowa’s Resource Enhancement and Protection Program, or REAP.
Arnolds Park was awarded 75-thousand dollars for a project to buy two parcels of residential property on the south side of the Abbie Gardner Cabin. Two small houses will be removed and a shelter house/restroom and parking area will be added. The project has a total estimated cost of 108,900-dollars.
