(Milford)– This (Monday) evening’s regular meeting of the Milford city council has been canceled.
KUOO news received word late this (Monday) afternoon the meeting, scheduled for 7:00 p.m., has been called off. City Administrator Brian Reed tells KUOO news it’s due to a lack of quorum. He says two council members are out of town.
The council currently has only four members. They opted not fill a vacancy created with the resignation of councilman Detlef Ball. They decided instead to let voters decide who will fill the vacancy in the November city election.
A discussion of the Lakeville Township Fire Levy and other issues pertaining to the Fire Department were among the items on the agenda.
