Hartley Man Arrested On Stalking & Harassment Charges

November 22, 2014

(Hartley)– Stalking and harrassment charges have been filed against a Hartley man.

19-year-old Nathan Bjorklund is accused of making hundreds of sexually explicit cell phone calls to several different women beginning in the spring of 2005 up until his arrest October 23rd. Authorities say the calls were placed during various hours of the day, mostly late at night.

Bjorklund has been charged with two counts of stalking and three counts of harrassment.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is the result of separate complaints from two different women.

Authorities say additional charges may be filed as their investigation continues and additional victims are identified through phone records and interviews.
