(Estherville)– The Chief Academic Officer at Iowa Lakes Community College has been appointed President of the Cloud County Community College in Kansas.
Rick Underbaake has held the post at Iowa Lakes since 2002. Prior that he was Dean at Northwest Iowa Community College. Underbaake was recently a finalist for the President’s job at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon. His last official day at Iowa Lakes will be November 30th.
Underbaake’s resignation set off a chain of promotions at the college. Estherville Dean Mary Mohni will become the Chief Academic Officer; Spirit Lake Dean Mary Larscheid will become the Dean at Estherville; Registrar Darin Moeller has been hired for the Spirit Lake job; and Scott Stokes, ILCC’s current Housing Manager and Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, has been promoted to the Registrar’s post.
