(Spencer)– A traffic stop in Spencer Tuesday resulted in the arrests of two Ruthven residents on various charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by Roger Alvin Kruse of Ruthven, who was found to have an active arrest warrant out of O’Brien county and an expired driver’s license. Kruse was placed under arrest. A subsequent search resulted in authorities finding drug paraphernalia on Kruse’s person.
A passenger in the vehicle, Ricky Nissen, was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was taken into custody.
Kruse was chared with operating while intoxicated…second offense; driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at 8,775-dollars. Nissen was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at 325-dollars.
