(Sergeant Bluff)– A Sergeant Bluff company has acquired two wireless providers…including one that serves the Iowa Great Lakes Area.
Long Lines Limited has purchased the assets of Great Lakes of Iowa and Siouxland PCS, along with a 155-mile fiber optic network between Hinton and the Iowa Great Lakes. Long Lines officials say they’ll be adding 30 new jobs to suport the expanded operation.
Siouxland PCS, which will be known as Long Lines Wireless, currently serves an 11-county area that extends from Emmetsburg, Spencer and Storm Lake to LeMars, along with Orange City and Sioux Center. Great Lakes of Iowa will continue to operate as Cellular One in Dickinson and surrounding companies.
