(Primghar)– The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office has filed an attempted murder charge against 34-year-old Norman Dale Clark, Junior of Primghar.
Authorities say the new charge stems from an incident at a Primghar residence on Saturday evening, November 19th of this year in which Clark allegedly twice stabbed JImmy Sheriff of Spencer during an argument. Clark had initially been charged with willful injury and going armed with intent. Authorities say the attempted murder charge was added based upon the findings of their ongoing investigation.
Clark is being held in the O’Brien county jail. He made an initial appearance in court on the attempted murder charge earlier this week. O’Brien County magistrate Jeffrey Queck set additional bond on Clark at 32,500-dollars. The additional charge is a class “B” felony and is punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
