ILCC Posts Another Record Enrollment

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College is reporting a record enrollment for the 10th Spring Semester in a row.

Julie Carlson, Dean of Enrollment Management, says credit hours are up slightly more than six percent, for more than 30-thousand credit hours. Carlson says most of the increase this term is coming from the college’s work with high school students through their dual-credit program.

Another area seeing a big increase is in ILCC’s E-College on-line courses.

Iowa Lakes Community College offers more than 100 areas of study at its campuses in Algona, Emmetsburg, Estherville, Spencer and Spirit Lake. The college also offers training and re-training to employees of area business and industry as well as continuing education courses.
